So here I am creating a blog during office hours. Lame.
Needless to say, it’s 2008 and why not start a blog? Will anyone actually read it? Don’t care..
I was chatting with my mom about a HS friend in Germany. Here I was telling her the circumstances how my friend got there (ie singing in a university choir that toured the world) and how through Facebook I noted she’s obtained her degree in Architecture. Suddenly, my mom asked me if I have a picture of a cousin who I never seen in 10 or more so years!
Little background:
Cousin (now in his 30’s) male. Sings. Is an architect. Last seen in Germany (or was it in the U.S.). Lost communication with his family.
As I do tend to mind my own business, I just got informed that this cousin is lost somewhere around the globe and my uncle has been looking for him for a good while now. (Geez! A whole globe to look for one person… You get the point.)
Feeling guilty of being apathetic to my own relatives, I offered to look him through the internet. Hmm.. As I googled the name, the results wasn’t what I anticipated. It’s harder than what I thought it’ll be… then, I thought why not Facebook?
Andrew Chan. That is the name I’m looking for. Search = 500+ results. Whaaattt??!! Cutting a long story short, after looking through 20+ pages with thumbnail pictures, I’m back to where I started. So, if YOU, cousin of mine is by chance reading this… Call your dad!!!!
Random thoughts indeed. Act of well intentioned kindness. Crazy results!
